The map or results are empty. Make sure location access is on for Beacon (Settings, then Beacon, then Location, then While Using the App) and that you have a data connection. Then tap the target button on the map to re-center, or use "Search this area".
"Share Your Coordinates" is slow. It waits for a good GPS fix. Go outside or near a window, wait a few seconds and try again.
A ramp or marina is closed, private or missing. Place information comes from Google Maps. Email us the name and location and we will look into it, or report it in Google Maps.
Emergencies. Beacon is not an emergency service. Call 911 or use your marine radio (VHF channel 16).
